ELIMKO RESISTANCE THERMOMETER CABLES

Standard copper cables of certain cross-sections are used between resistance thermometers and the device. Since the resistance thermometer has a resistance value that changes with temperature, the resistance value of the cable to be connected to R/T is important. There are certain points to be taken into consideration when installing cables, especially depending on the distance. In the standards, copper cables with a cross section of 2x1.5 mm2 with a resistance of 0.2 ohm per meter are used.

Distance between the device and the Resistance Thermometer;

* Up to 10 m with 2x1.5 mm2 section (Two Wires)

* Up to 150 m with 3x1.5 mm2 section (Three Wire)

* Longer than 150 m, 4x1.5 mm2 cross-section (Four-Wire) cable is used.
