GENERAL FEATURES


Flat inset type thermocouples are generally

a. In boilers, pipelines, tanks,
b. In gas and liquid environments,
c. In pressurized environments,
D. It is used in environments where the working environment wears out the thermocouple in a short time.

The biggest advantage of flat inset type thermocouples is that when a malfunction occurs in the thermocouple, the inset can be removed and replaced practically without removing the thermocouple outer sheath from the environment. In this way, the process is not interrupted.

The straight inset thermocouple is placed in the outer sheath and is integrated with the inset and ceramic terminal block. Elimko inset type thermocouple picture number is TC05.

Among the standard types, TC03 and TC04 are inset types and TC05 is mounted inside.

DESIGN AND SELECTION

Inset thermocouples are connected to the measurement medium with the help of welding, record or flange. The inset is placed in the sheath and the compensation cable is connected to the head. Inset can be changed without disrupting operation

THERMOCOUPLE STANDARD

The EMF characteristics of thermocouples specified with standard numbers corresponding to DIN 43710 and IEC 60584 are given in the Thermocouples General Information Section. If desired, other standard or special thermocouples are manufactured by Elimko. Thermocouple type numbers are stated on the labels on the head, and the type numbers of the inset types are indicated on the plate on the ceramic terminal block.
