General Description
2850T Multifunction controller is an all-in-one device. It combines the powerful function block to allow customized programs with precision PID controllers, secure data logging, batch reporting, Setpoint Programmer (Ramp & Soak) and sequence control configurability. The bright 3.5 ”touch graphic interface makes visualization of process parameters extremely clear. This technology also provides s a, located on the front of the panel, the ability to be configured without the need for a connected PC. The 2850T meets the high accuracy standards of the Aerospace and Automotive Industries with CQI9 and AMS2750.

PID control Loops
The 2850T can control up to 8 individual PID loops. The flexibility of the 2850T allows the user to take advantage of a variety of advanced control loop functions. These range from single loop, proportional or motorized valve, ratio control and cascade control.
The 2850T has multiple adjustment methods to give the user precise control over the process. This will provide stable and accurate temperature control for applications with critical heat demands or fast processes.
Data Logger and Batch report
The Data Logger function, along with the Real Time Clock, stores process data, IN / OUT signals, and alarm conditions in an open file (.CSV format) or an encrypted file. The minimum data sampling frequency is 1 second. The batch report option allows you to associate archived data with a specific batch code reference. The flexibility of the 2850T data format allows the user to create customized, production and quality reports.
DataLog Utility PC is available for easy management of all archived data, allowing manual or automatic copying and deletion of files over an Ethernet network. Data stored on the PC can be viewed in trend sheet format or in a spreadsheet (Excel type) or exported as CSV or PDF files.
Setpoint Programmer (Ramp and Hold)
The 2850T user ramp provides an advanced Setpoint programmer to create control profiles with wet hold, In / Out functions and event for each step. Multiple processes can be set so that each zone can synchronize time-based or asynchronous times. Guaranteed Holds, multiple event outputs for auxiliary control can be managed in the Scheduler.
GET logic
GEFRAN GET logic is an option Get programming package on the 2850T controller. The GET logic is part of the GF_Express Tool which can be downloaded from Gefran's website. GET logic combines logic and mathematical functions, allowing the user to create customized sequence control with the combined use of advanced process control functions.
As an all-in-one device, the 2850T takes high-level process control with mathematics and integrates logic functions. It is now possible by creating virtual control channels with delays, timers, sequence control, logic functions, mathematical functions, and precision PID control that allows the user to combine all advanced functions in a single 2850T solution.
Custom interface GET view
The GET view is also in Gefran's GF_Express software. The GET View allows the user to create customized pages with application specific graphics. The GET view allows the user to design a dynamic graphical interface that will simplify and clarify the process interactions in the production area. Gefran includes a library of graphic symbols to help develop customized views. There are easy links for associating graphic symbols with controller variables.
