Transducers of this type include oil-damped pendulum systems in a robust splash-proof aluminum casing with an IP 65 to IP 68 protection rating with potentiometric, non-contact measured oscillation depending on the application, depending on the application. inductive or optoelectronic angular encoder. For safety-related measurements, the pendulum oscillation per axis is detected by the redundancy, i.e. by two mechanically and electrically independent pendulum systems.

The output signal representing the slope angles is provided either in the form of an analog resistor, current or voltage change, or as a digital signal - via the interface bus.

For application as tilt switch on lifting platforms on cargo ships, crane trucks or tilt control systems, single axis converters can be provided with built-in min / max comparators.
