ELC Level switches are used for liquid level control of tanks and boilers. It can be used in critical environments, low density and high viscosity conductive liquids with solid particles, since it has no moving parts.

Working Principle:

When the liquid level reaches the level of the isolated electrode, the current passage between the electrode and the liquid starts or stops. This powered AC current can be evaluated with a relay circuit.
